With there being so many active military service members here locally between the multiple nearby bases we wanted to make sure we understand and recognize the struggles and needs of our military. In order to do that to the best of our ability, we have taken extensive courses designed and geared specifically towards helping those who protect this country and their families. We are designated by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) as "MILITARY RELOCATION PROFFESSIONALS" and we are proud of the work we put in to earn that title.
When it comes to service members kids, and especially those with special needs the Military has set up resources for the children and their families. knowing that change and moving can be stressful and hard enough without some additional help.
With PCS orders comes unfamiliarity, loss of friends, new environment, and starting all over. This link is for "Kid Connect" which helps military kids network with kids their own age at other military bases, giving them a chance to make friends before arrival or stay in touch with others.
The Department of Defense's Family Readiness System (FRS) supports military families through a network of programs, services, contacts, and agencies. The resources available can help a military family tackle many of the challenges involved in moving or any other stage of military life. Click the link to be taken there.
The Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation is for real estate professionals who want to work with current and former military service members. The MRP accredidation program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. servicemembers and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support.
